  Dear Carol,

  Your dad was a very handsome young man. He had a long and fruitful life and a mercifully swift death. Many people loved him and will miss him. I hope you find comfort in knowing you were there for him when he needed you most.

  Sorry to hear about your Dad. What a wonderful unique man he was and what a pleasure to be able to be just a small part of his life while I got to friend and care for him that short time. He is in a better place and at rest now.

  I’m very sorry to hear of your loss, Carol. It’s a wonderful thing that he was able to enjoy his opera and his cards. I know, even given the challenges, it will be a hard thing when my dad goes, so my heart goes out to you, even with the ease this event may provide to your father.
